TIGO LAUNCHES SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 & S6 EDGE with free 15GB Internet
Mobile Network Operator Tigo Ghana has launched Samsung's latest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge with free 15GB internet for 12 months.
All customers who pre-order the phone will get a free wireless charger.
Speaking at a ceremony to unveil the brand spanking new phone, the Head of Mobile for Tigo Ghana, Tara Squire, said the launch formed part of Tigo's commitment to encourage Ghanaians to use smartphones.
"The functionalities of this stylish phone is beyond compare, it very well suits the busy lifestyle of our high valued customers. And with our reliable internet and improved network coverage, Togo will keep customers confidently connected to enable do more" he emphasised.
Tigo is making both phones affordable to customers through a 12 month flexible payment plan, a partnership with Stanbic Bank.
Tigo started operations in Ghana in 1991 as the first Mobile Network Operator. It is part of Millicom which provides mobile, voice, data, cable television, broadband and financial services to over 50 million customers in 13 emerging markets in Africa and Latin America.
Tigo Ghana has over the years won several awards. At the 2014 Ghana Telecom Awards, "Free Bonto" was adjudged "Product of the Year!. In 2013, Tigo picked up 'BEST MARKETING CAMPAIGN OF THE YEAR" - Tigo Cash; Best Mobile Money Service of the Year - Tigo Cash and "Best Use of Social Media Marketing Campaign of the Year".
