TIGO GHANA MEETS NAIJA: Sarkodie, Shatta Wale & Stonebowy vrs Don Jazzy and his Marvins Crew

At the Oak Plaza yesterday morning, the battle lines were drawn and the smoothness level of each country will be decided on the 23rd of May, 2015 at the Accra International Conference Centre as Ghana come face to face with their musical countersparts from Nigeria.

The 5th edition of the TIGO GHANA MEETS NAIJA will see a "Triple S" (Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebowy) in the red, gold and green corner for Ghana whiles Don Jazzy and his 7 member team of Marvins crew represent the green and white corner for Nigeria.

It is surely going to be a night of power and solid music and in all, a celebration of African music.

The 5th edition of the annual event is under the theme: “Unleashing Unlimited Music” and its slated for Saturday, 23rd May 2015 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Speaking at the media launch in Accra, the General Manager of Empire Group of Companies, Ms Laillah Crystal Banda stated that, "This year will be even more spectacular and is suret to give music fans an experience to truly relish.".
 
She continues to tell the press on how the flavour right from the unset of the concept till sail through till the 5th edition with TIGO GHANA now on board.
"The fervour with which the Ghana Meets Naija vision was realised in our first edition still shines through as we celebrate 5 years of bringing you a premium entertainment experience. All patrons will have a story to tell after they indulge in this years event, Tigo Ghana Meets Naija 2015."
 
The Head of Marketing for Tigo Ghana, Jesse Agyepong, also indicated the believe and purpose for which TIGO GHANA decided to associate with this year's event. “Our association with this event is in line with our commitment to support the music and entertainment industry in Ghana. It is also to create platforms for local musicians to showcase their talent. We will continue to be part of the art industry because we believe that promoting of our artistes is an important part of the growth of the music industry in Ghana”.
 
 This year's event promises to be one of the most thrilling and exciting experience for patrons and music lovers who will be at the centre.
