I was pissed off so I left the auditorium - PAT THOMAS'S WIFE

After a beautiful performance from one of Ghana's highlife music legends Pat Thomas and his daughter Nana Yaa on the stage of "THE LORDS OF THE RIBS" comedy show held on Easter Saturday at the Accra International Conference Centre, one of Nigeria's finest comedians Basketmouth interrupted with the almost finished perfromance and ask the music legend to leave the stage since the show is a comedy show and not a musical show. "go, go, go, go, go!!! Its a comedy show not a musical show. I have being waiting since let me do it sharp sharp and take my money".

This act exhibited by BasketMouth did not go well with many people at the auditorium and social media observers.
One of the people who have expressed her angry on the incident is the wife of Pat Thomas; Nana Abrafi.

Speaking on Radio Universe's mid-morning show(Brunch2Lunch), she described the action of BasketMouth as totally disrespectful and uncalled for.

“The family had gone there to support our husband and father to perform. Just as he was about to thank the audience, Basket Mouth rudely interrupted and demanded he be given the microphone saying it was not a musical show but comedy. In fact, it was totally disrespectful. Many had come because daddy [Pat Thomas] was there to perform” speaking to Abrantepa on the show.

“I was pissed off so I left the auditorium. I thought the promoter would apologize there but I was told they apologized to daddy backstage”, she continued.

Adding, “Which Ghanaian can do this in Nigeria? Pat Thomas is old enough to be his [Basket Mouth] father and for him to have shown such gross disrespect to him is despicable. He started doing music before you started with your comedy. I was pissed off”.
