The change according to organisers, is due to the closeness of the main event date which needs more time for preparation and also the factor that it was a holiday which would allow invitees to be part of the event.
On the night, 10 Awards were given to desiring individual according to the votes of industry players. Be it radio presenters, entertainment show producers, publishers and many key industry players.
The event was a well organised package with very beautiful lighting and good sound. The performers on the night set the venue on fire literally with their acts. Emelia Arthur set the ball rolling with Efya turning and twisting with her melodious voice after.
The unexpected artiste who took patroins by surprise was RAS Kuuku who mounted the stage with lots of energy to perform his songs back to back. His acts came as a surprise on the night was adjudge by most of the patrons as one of the best on the night.
The "Sweetio" hitmaker, Raquel took her turn on stage and sailed the audience in a ship which was captained by her voice.
As if that wasn't enough for the night, Nana Kwame Ampedu one of the highlife veterans in Ghanaian circles won the Life Achievement Award and use the opportunity to sing one of his all time favourite hit song titled,"OBRA".
The Industry Awards, forms part of the 16th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2015. In all ten awards were given ourt of the thirty one with the rest to be given on the 11th April at the Accra International Conference Centre marking the main awards.
