THEY DIE BY DAWN is the FIRST film on Jay Z’s much talked about Tidal platform, presently on it front page. The movie started streaming exclusively in TIDAL from the 3rd of April.They Die by Dawn, a Western, features the award-winning singer Erykah Badu, as Stagecoach Mary in a story about four outlaws who all have a bounty on their heads and are fighting to be the last one standing.
It's written, directed and produced by U.K.-bred filmmaker/singer/songwriter Jeymes "The Bullitts" Samuels, who also has credits as a music consultant for The Great Gatsby and an onscreen role in this flick (hi, Spike Lee).
Tony Tagoe of Ghanaian descent (producer who brought Idris Elba/Ama K Abebrese film Beasts of No Nations to Ghana) also co-produced the movie.
