Kwaw Kese, one of Ghana's heavy weight hiplife artiste has being sentence to one day imprisonment and fined an amount of One thousand and two hundred Ghana cedis by a Kumasi High Court. The musician has came face to face with law in a nacarcotic related offence for some few months now.
The court ruled that the musician should pay an amount GHc 1,200 and if he doesn't pay, he will spend three more day in prison. The court was presided over by Judge William Boampong.
Unconfirmed reports indicates Kwaw Kese has paid his fined and is set to be released tomorrow.
Kwaw Kese was arrested on November 22, 2014, in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi and he spent about a month in appealing for a bail whiles the case was investigated.
He was denied bail on two occasions and was later granted bail on the grounds of health related issues with a suriety without justification on December 30th and on an amount of GH80,000.
Kwaw Kese who after his experience in remand have taken up lots of projecvt to support prisoners and on Val's day, he donated some items to the prisons.
Kwaw Kese experience also made him release a song titled,"Masa l beg". He and his team have stated to embark on a campaign to support the well being of prisoners in the country.
