“I don’t see myself in the next 15-20 years as a hardcore rapper - OBRAFOUR

fsdfsdfsfsdObrafour is unquestionably one of the best rappers here in Ghana. From 1999 till date.
He has held the fort as the most quintessential rapper here in Ghana. He took a break from active music, and then came back on the Ghanaian music scene with his Kasiebo song.

For some time now, sections of the public have expressed their worry as to why Obrafour is doing more of singing than what he has been known for all these years. On Metro TV’s entertainment show hosted by Jon Germain, Obrafour has finally revealed why he is now doing more singing.

When asked by the host what accounted for the sudden change, he said,

“I don’t see myself in the next 15-20 years as a hardcore rapper like what I have been known for all these years, you don’t expect me to be rapping with that kind of energy and vigour, so I just thought it wise to diversify before it’s too late”.

He implored that Ghanaians should start buying into his new found love, which is his singing skills. He said,
“That’s the new me, I’m comfortable in this area too, so Ghanaians should just accept me as a singer too, I promise to give off my best when it comes to exhibiting my singing prowess too.”

For some time now, Obrafour has shown his singing prowess on songs among others like ‘Swedru Agona’, ‘No shortcut to Heaven’, and almost all the new songs that he has featured on.

He also announced that he is set to release his new album soon as well as Ghanaians should brace themselves for a ‘sick’ single from him and BET rapper, Sarkodie very soon.
