Sarkodie one of Ghana's multi-award winning young musicians has called on his fellow colleague and friend Shatta Wale to try as much of possible to feature Samini who is Shatta Wale biggest music rival. He made this call in one of his songs titled,"Decisions" which featured sensetional soul vocalist Raquel of "Sweetio" hit fame.
Sarkodie in the two minute and twenty seconds song praised Shatta Wale for his hardwork and how he has fought against all odds to get to where he is now.
"Big ups to Shatta Wale,even though his walks through the vallies of the shadows of death,he is still prevailing through and l believe very soon he will be driving a ferrari".
Sarkodie's song calls for unity and love among Ghanaian musicians so the industry can grow and become more vibrant.
He referred to the success of the Nigeria's music industry and said its all because of unity and love.
The two time Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year and BET Award winner says, "l think is time for all of us (musicians) to come together. Lets us do the collaborations to change our music weather. We have hurt each other before but all that is in the past and l believe even that we did not intensionally do so. If we have no love among us and for ourselves,we will never progress"; he concluded.
Sarkodie in recent times have being calling for unity in the music industry after so many things he has already expressed as not helping the industry especially the treatment and lack of respect to musicians in the country.
Sarkodie and Shatta Wale is now considered as two Ghanaian musicians who will stand their grounds and ensure they are treated right and respected.
Some Pundits have described them as arrogant and alot more have seen them as the out spoken musicians who stand for the truth and the growth of the music industry.
Sarkodie is noted to be using his music lyrics to express his thoughts in recent times. He released a song to address the hardship and how bad he thinks the economy is and again released another to address some things he thinks the media and pundits are not doing right.
The BET winner is set to release his next album after a successful "Rapperholic" album and according to sources, its is going to be one of the biggest music albums in Africa.
