"I think the situation with the judges was predictable - Sarkodie Speaks on Anas Judges Exposé

BET Awarding winning Ghanaian Artiste Sarkodie says the situation with the judges and exposé from Anas Aremyaw Anas was predictable. According to him, he didn't see Anas stopping what he aimed at.
"I think the situation with the judges was predictable and I didn't see Anas stopping what he was doing" says Sarkodie in an interview with Citi fm on the Citi Breakfast Show as part of radio tour for his upcoming album launched titled "Mary".

Sarkodie in one of his songs titled "Pizza & Burger" which had Jayso on the song warned the Judges who are said to be taking bribes to stop because Anas was coming for them.
After the exposé, many fans of Sarkodie have suspected he might have known of the intentions of Anas Aremyaw Anas.

In the same interview, Sarkodie says he has never voted before for the simple reason of no change occurring after elections. Though he says he is not proud of it he maintains the fact as "nothing seems to change".

"I'm not proud to say it but I haven't voted before. I haven't voted before because nothing seems to change. It's not appetizing" said Sarkodie.
Sarkodie says sometimes force must be applied for one to we the change one wants to see.
"Sometimes we need to have that bit of aggressiveness to force the change we want".

Sarkodie is considered as one of th best rappers in Africa for his flow and voice clarity in his rap. Speaking about his art, Sarkodie says he has a twi accent but doesn't speak good twi like his music godfather Obrafour.

Sarkodie in several interviews about his childhood has confirmed that Obrafuor is his inspiration but confirmed his childhood was a challenging one during his interview on Citi fm. Sarkodie says his song titled "Mile7" talks about his childhood and the challenges he went through.

Sarkodie as a musician has collaborated with many artists but according to him, he only collaborate with artiste because of the passion he has for the artist and not the big names.

"I don't collaborate with artistes because of their big names. I collaborate with artistes because of my passion".

He appreciated the support he has had from his fans all these years and says they are the reason he does what he does.

"When people give me the feedback that they love me it pushes me to do more" said Sarkodie.

The multi award winning artiste is set to launch his next album on the 12th September  and the West hills Mall in Accra, Ghana to meet and greet his fans and well wishers. The album titled "Mary" is said to be an album dedicated to his grandmother who had always wished him (Sarkodie) do live productions. The album according Sarkodie is mostly written by another Ghanaian multi talented musician and songwriter Akwaboah.

"Mary is my Grandma who passed away and I decided to name my new album after her " #MaryAlbum.
