Many African film makers came together to share ideas, socialize and finally, witness deserving personalities take home what is due them for their hard work for the year under review.
One after the other winners were mentioned but unfortunately, Ghana was missing on the night. Though Ghana won some awards last year with Leila Djansi and Shirley Frimpong - Manso's productions Northern Affair and Potomanto respectively, Ghana couldn't defend those awards this year.
