After Britain’s Got Talent, Ghana’s Menn On Point (Reggy Zippy and Bollie) makes it to X Factor boot camp

Earlier this year, the internet was buzzing with the exciting return of two lost names in the Ghanaian music scene, Reggy Zippy and Bollie.  The two who now live in the UK have formed a group known as Menn on Point, which made an impressive showing on the hit reality TV show, Britain’s Got Talent.Although they couldn’t go further to win the big prize, the duo is back in yet another loved British reality TV show, the X-factor – and already they are buzzing!!!

The Ghanaian duo  brought a lot of energy to their audition on Saturday night’s telecast of The X Factor. They performed an original song called ‘Turn It Up’ in the hope of winning around the judges, saying “we hope the crowd will love it”.

Menn on Poinnt immediately got the crowd and some of the judges moving with their upbeat song, notably Rita Ora, though Simon Cowell looked dumbfounded. The duo received a rapturous reception from the audience and even enjoyed praise from the judges themselves, with Nick Grimshaw saying, “not only was it good, people were bouncing in here”.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini said that their energy was “infectious” while Cowell also shared his support of the duo by saying they were “completely nuts”. He added that they reminded him of Beavis and Butthead because they were “really funny”, also telling the duo that “with you it is always going to be a sunny day”.
The duo got four yeses and went straight through to boot camp. The X Factor returns tomorrow Sunday evening for the first episode from Boot Camp on ITV at 7pm.
