Nominations open for 2015 BASS awards

Solid Multimedia, organizers of the annual Bass Awards, an awards scheme dedicated to Reggae and Dancehall music, in conjunction with Bullhaus Entertainment, have announced the opening of nominations for the 2015 edition.

As in previous editions, a total of twenty 21 categories will be awarded to winners with one being a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The categories include
Artiste of the Year (Kwame Nkrumah Award),
Dancehall Artiste of the Year,
Reggae Artiste of the Year,
Best Alternative Reggae/Dancehall Song (Gospel),
Dancehall Song of the Year,
Reggae Song of the Year,
Best Collaboration (Reggae),
Best Collaboration (Dancehall),
Record of the Year (Yaa Asantewaa Award) and
Producer of the Year.

Others are
Music Video of the Year (Reggae),
Music Video of the Year (Dancehall),
Best Male Vocal Artiste,
Best Female Vocal Artiste,
Lifetime Achievement Award,
Discovery of the Year,
Best Performer,
Album of the Year (Reggae/Dancehall),
Best Songwriter, Best African Act and
Lifetime Achievement Award (Reggae/Dancehall).
