PHOTOS: The Shock of Tigo Ghana Meets Naija. What No One will Tell You

It was an electrifying night full of music and non-stop dancing and screaming from fans as they watch and enjoy their favorite artistes rock the stage of the most publicized and talked about 5th edition of Tigo Ghana Meets Naija.

The event from its beginning has recorded an over flowing crowd and this edition was not an exception.

The 5th edition featured the Triple "S" from Ghana, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy as against the Mavins Crew from Nigeria.
The night commenced with Nero X who perform his hit song and did a Castro song in remembrance of the missing hiplife Ghanaian musician.

Gallaxy also grace the stage with their "Boo Boo" song before Double in an all white came to nail it to nail it with their highlife melody and pave way for Keche to also come in and rock.

Ruff and Smooth followed after Keche and the duo commenced their art with a classic tune and rendition of their song from ''Adoma", a young female music sensation.

It was a night of music but wouldn't have being completed without the "king of Ghana comedy today" DKB and controversial Afia Schwarzenegger. The two comedians rock the rips of patrons with their jokes and comments and at the end,"the missing speech of the President was found with Afia". (Funny isn't it?)

The only female to grace the stage with her performance for the night was MzVee. She thrilled fans with her silky voice and sensational hits tunes and as well as her latest song.

As typical of Tigo Ghana Meets Naija, there is always a DJ Battle and this year, it was a battle between, DJ Vyrusky(Ghana) and DJ Kessking (Nigeria). Both Djs took the battle personal and delivered one of the finest performance with a world class touch. Both Djs kept patrons on their feet from start to finish. (Check the video for your own judgement)

Shatta Wale emerged from the crowd after MzVee's performance with lots of falgs following displaying his SM Movement. Shatta Wale the former VGMAs Artiste of the Year, really did bring the roofs down with his performance. From, "Korle Gonno Ninja to Dance Hall King". As typical as Shatta Wale, he always have something under his sleeves. This time, the "Me gyi wo girl" hit maker stripped himself half naked on stage to the amazement and excitement of his fans at the hall.

Sarkodie hit the stage with a rousing voice of cheers and excitement from the crowd. He performed for an estimated time of 78 mins and throughout, he kept the energy and fire in the hall. He was joined by Shatta Wale to perform the "Me gyi wo girl" hit and later joined by Jupita to do the "Ememies" hit.
As if that wasn't enough, Stonebwoy the current Artiste of the Year joined Sarkodie to perform. Sarkodie then left the stage for him to do his performance.

Stonebwoy also did his best by increasing the energy in the hall but as the show went on, his energy drop abit but was risen again as he was joined by Sarkodie again to perform his hit track, "Baafira".

The Dj for the night, Nii Ayi Tagoe, thrilled fans with some mix and then zoomed into the performance of the MAVINS from Nigeria lead by Don Jazzy.

Rekaado Banks started the art for the Mavins. Just as he mentioned before the show in an interview we reported, he really made his performance a movie.
He was then followed by Korebe Bello. He started his art with an acoustic tune with his guitar and zoomed into the dancing tunes and finally delivered his hit track, "God win".

The only female among the Mavins for the night Di'Ja delievered her art with energy and a sensational voice which can melt any heart on any day.

The Prine of Mavins Crew, D'Prince with his dancers kept the hall on fire with his danceable tunes and pave way for Dr. SID.

Dr. SID who have performed in Ghana before lived up to expectations.  He rocked the hall with so much energy that kept the crowd on their feet. His art got more crazier when he was joined by Don Jazzy on stage.
The two musicians in their white Agbada performed for 45 minutes estimated before going back stage and coming again with the whole Mavins Crew.
The seven member team really did burn the energy in patrons by making them dance to the end of their performance. Patrons sang along as they perform from "Adoebi to Dorobucci".

In summary the Tigo Ghana Meets Naija 5th edition would go down as one of the best shows organized and experienced in Ghana this year.

Tigo Ghana Meets Naija was organized by Empire Entertainment and sponsored by Tigo Music and supported by @Studio360gh.
