As part of the 5th edition of the most celebrated Musical event on Ghana's calendar, TIGO GHANA MEETS NAIJA, Empire Entertainment the organised the maiden edition of an Industry workshop as part of the event this year.Industry players were educated on digitization of today's music and how they can make money out of it. The event according to the General Manager Empire Entertainment, Ms. Laillah Crystal Banda, this seminar is to empower, educate and give resources to industry personnels.
"This program is set to empower, inform, educate and give resources industry personnels. We had a resource person flown all the way from the UK, we had persons from GAMBRO, MUSIGA and legal representatives as well. This will be annual program from Empire and we might organise such a program in the course of the year", said Ms. Crystal.
The event was attended by musicians, producers, artistes managers, music promoters ad many more key players in the music industry.
Tigo Ghana Meets Naija is an annual musical event organised by Empire Entertainment in Ghana to bring together Ghana and Nigerian musicians to entertain audience and also to match-make in their line of business as musicians.This event also give the two countries the opportunity to broaden their market as musicians. This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, 23rd May, 2015 at the Accra International Conference Centre, Accra, Ghana.
The event will see Ghana's Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale battle it out with TE MARVINS CREW from Nigeria, lead by Don Jazzy.
