Sarkodie releases song on "DUMSOR"

Ghana's finest rap artiste, Sarkodie a strong voice for the current power failure campaign against the power rationing in the country #DumsorMustStop has finally putting his words on beat to produce a song.

The artiste who is known to speak on issues affecting the country stated clearly in the song that, he is not expecting an overnight solution but it is best to know what the government is doing to solve the issue.
"I am not saying we want an overnight result but l think we desire a breakdown. We need to understand what is happening and to know what you guys are doing".

Sarkodie also stated clearly that he does not support any political party but believes  when issues are affecting the nation and no one speaks, it will remain the same.

He also expressed how sad the power failure have being addressed in a political direction and wondered why; when he should speak as a young man in Ghana against something that is affecting the country, he is being prevented.

The "Baby" hit maker also use the song to highlight some of the unfortunate incidents happening as a result of the power failure. He mentioned the situation in the hospitals, educational sectors and also homes of people.

Sarkodie and one of Ghana's fine female actress Yvonne Nelson through their lawyers earlier this week have written to the Ghana Police Service according to the laws of the land to hold a vigil to protest against the power failure in the country on May 16th.
