Stonebwoy and Sarkodie would have to battle it out with AKA (South Africa), Fally Ipupa (DR Congo), Sauti Sol (Kenya), The Soil (South Africa), Wizkid and Yemi Alade both from Nigeria.
Sarkodie "the Adoni" hitmaker has some time back tasted the winning sugar of the award before and will hope and wish to add another win to his cabin of lures.
Fuse ODG on the other hand is the only Ghanaian to be nominated in the BEST INTERNATIONAL ACT - UK Category. Fuse ODG who is based in the UK will have to compete with fka Twigs, Lethal Bizzle, Little Simz, Mnek and Stormzy to win the ategory for the year under review.
Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown lead the nominations with six nominations apiece. Beyoncé and Lil Wayne score four nominations each, while other multiple nominees include Big Sean, Usher, and Sam Smith.
The announcement of the nominees were made today.
The BET Awards will celebrate its 15th anniversary live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28.
