#DumsorMustStop Vigil: I won’t be there because....Stonebowy
The 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the year , Stonebwoy has said in live radio that he can't join his colleagues for the #DumsorMustStop vigil. The Bhim Nation Leader and "Bafira" hit maker made this revelations on an Accra-based radio station Kasapa FM's morning show.
Stonebowy indicated that he will be staging his Necessary Evil album launch on the same day and therefore can't join the vigil.
“Unfortunately, I won’t be there because that is the same day I am holding my event…,” he said.
The #DumsorMustStop vigil has suffered many challenges, ranging from political abuse to venue and to traditional confrontations but as at press time, the Ghana Police Service has fin ally given the green light for the event to be held on the 16th of May.
With all these arguments, insults and hurdles, Stonebowy in his interview wishes the organizers channel their energies in to helping solve the issue.However, despite claiming he can’t make it to the event, the rapper said it would be better for the orgnaisers to channel their energies into helping solve the crisis.
