The former Presidential staffer Alhaji Halidu Haruna who made an unfortunate comment when Yvonne Nelson and Lydia Forson started #DumsorMustStop was nearly beaten by a cross section of the crowd that attended the vigil yesterday. It took the intervention of the Police to guard him into his car for safety.
The politician who had apologise for his comment stated on an Accra base radio station of his intentions to join the vigil to let the world know how sorry he was for such comments. 
Alhaji Halidu have received several insults and education from some celebrities in the creative arts and the general public for his comment which simply refer to female celebrities above 30 years and unmarried as Prostitutes.#DumsorMustStop vigil was organised by Yvonne Nelson and some entertainment celebrities to demand for answers an d solution s from the government of the day. The vigil was attended by a huge crowd estimated to be over 5,000. The movement started on social media an d have made clear case of the power of social media.
