''Sarkodie is the Best thing that Has Ever Happen To Hiplife'' :- Obrafuor

Ghana's multi award winning hip-life rap living legend, Obrafuor in an interview with Nana Addo on Entertainment Update on Angel TV on friday, 24th July confirmed Sarkodie as the best thing that has ever happened to Hiplife in Ghana.

According to him, Sarkodie is an embodiment of Hiplife.

''I have really observe Sarkodie and how he works. l must confess, Sarkodie is the best thing that has ever happened to Hiplife in Ghana. In one sentence to describe him, he is an embodiment of Hiplife'' said Obrafuor.

The ''Pae muka'' hitmaker said he has worked with Sarkodie but frankly, he is a deep in thought of a person. According to him, Sarkodie really sacrifices everything to make music and he knows where he wants to get to.

Obrafuor has released three singles off his next album titled ""Obrafufro" and according to him he will release it in the month of October. The singles released are currently enjoying massive airplay especially, ''Pimpinaa'' which featured Bisa Kdei and "Nkontopo" a song that speaks of the ills in society.

Obrafuor also confirmed his decision to be doing more singing than rapping. According to him, when he projects into the future, a tome will come when he won't have the energy to be rapping as compared to the young ones as at that time so its better he does more singing to support the young and energetic one of the time.
He has done more singing in his collaborations with Manifest.

Obrafuor burst into the Ghanaian music scene in 1999 with his Hammer produced album titled, ''Pae muka'' which is believed to be one of the best hiplife albums of all time. This album has being confirmed to be the album that encouraged young artistes to join the hiplife fraternity and interestingly, Sarkodie is one of the young artiste motivated by the album.
