This headline surely does not taste good for Yvonne Nelson and she has replied.
The actress took to her instagram page to register her displeasure on the matter.
"No one took any money from NPP, if anyone alleges that, the person should say it publicly and we will sue the person and make them prove it. yn*"
Yvonne further took to her tweet handle to throw punches at the publishers and other media practitioners who she claims writes "dumb" stories. The actress has threaten to sue someone one of these days.
According to reportage, one of the Communication Officers of the party by name Mr. Baah Acheamfuor disclosed an amount of GH 5,000 was allocated by the party for the organisation and facilitation of the "anti-dumsor" vigil that was spearheaded by multi award winning actress Yvonne Nelson.
The report also says the officer spoke on Okay 101.7 Fm a local station in Accra and the officer is said to have emphatically stated the said amount was part of budgetary allocation that was prepared by the Party for various activities and that the said money was given to Mr. John Boadu, the National Organizer of the party to be given to the organizers of the various endeavors.
Further Mr. Baah according to the reports is said to have said he cannot confirm if indeed the National Organiser of the Party gave the money to the organizers of the "Dumsor Vigil" since he has no documents to prove and therefore call on the organisers of the vigil to come out to confirm or deny if they got the money from the Party.
