The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has announced the roadmap for its national elections due to take place during its national congress in Koforidua from October 29 – 31.
As part of preparations for the Congress, filing of nominations will commence on Monday July 27 and will be open till August 27. After the filing of nominations vetting will take place on September 10.
Members of the Union who are interested in contesting for the elections will have to pay the following filing fees:
- President – GHC 3,000.00
- 1st Vice President – GHC 2,000.00
- 2nd Vice President – GHC 2,000.00
- General Secretary – GHC 2,000.00
- Treasurer – GHC 1,000.00
- Welfare Officer – GHC 1,000.00
- National Organizer – GHC 1,000.00
In all 150 delegates are expected to participate in the Congress.
