SAMINI AND MTN Ambassadorial Deal Comes To An End

Ghana's Dancehall and multi award winning artiste, Samini have said goodbye to MTN GHANA after close to a decade of relationship with the telecommunication giants as the brand Ambassador.

Samini who was one of the early ambassadors of the company when they took over from areeba, took to his twitter handle to announce his departure as a brand ambassador of the company.

 In 2007, the ‘Iskoki’ and MOGO award winner signed a deal with the telecommunication brand which first ended in September 2010 but was later renewed.

Both brands have worked on many projects and through that, both have enjoyed some success during their bed of roses relationship.

 According to what he tweeted, Samini indicated it was time ‘for all stages’ but appreciated the almost a decade long great working relationship with MTN.

Samini has been nominated for this year’s MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) ‘Evolution’ category which will take place later this month July 18 in Durban, in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal.
