Holiday revellers injured in Bunso Canopy Walkway accident
Information coming in from the Eastern Region of Ghana indicates scores of holiday revelers are severely injured in an accident on the
Bunso Arboretum Canopy Walkway in the East Akyem District of the Eastern
region.
According to the reports, three people are in a critical condition with one of them been a child who is currently under emergency care.
The unfortunate incident according to reports says, one of the hooks connecting the canopy walkway which was completed last year in May was actually hooked to a weak tree that lead to it unfastened.
The holiday revelers are said to include Junior High School Graduates who just completed their Basic Education Certificate Examination that was hit by a leakage storm and had to re-write five of them again.
Some of the victims we hear have being transported to the Tafo Government Hospital. The Ambulance Service of Ghana were said to have arrived at the sight and treated victims.
