Nana Kwame Ampadu kick-started the three nights on Monday night. Ben Brako and Paapa Yankson will take their turns on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Nana Ampadu told the story of how he started his music career and how he was made head of state for two hours by General Kutu Acheampong.
“The late Chairman Acheampong was the head of state. We became comrades, you can call it friends. So one day I visited him at the Burma Camp. When I went, he was sitting with his subjects. They were discussing something, I don’t remember.
After sharing his beautiful life story, he treated patrons to some of the hit songs from his huge collection of music.
Ben Brako takes his turn on Tuesday night and Paapa Yankson follows on Wendesday night, at Alisa Hotel, Ridge – Accra.
The #MOGOFestival will be climaxed with the #MOGOAwards on Saturday March 28th at the Accra International Conference Center.
