EAZZY CALLS FOR SUPPORT FOR FEMALE MUSICIANS IN GHANA
Eazzy, one of Ghana's finest female musicians have called for a fair share of the music industry cake for women in the music.
She made mention that due To the unfairness of the music industry, the industry is seen as a male dominating one.
She also appealed to Charter House, the organisers of the Ghana Music Awrads to start thinking of a category that will go for women in the music industry which she believes will create more competition and also encourage more women to come into the music industry.
"We have female vocalist of the year and that is the only category which features women. What harm would it cause if we have another category like FEMALE ARTISTE OF THE YEAR?"
She continues,
"In Nigeria, they have about sixteen female artistes and still counting but here in Ghana, we have only six or so and this is not helping the industry".
She made these point known during an interview on Neat fm morning show, Entertainment Ghana hosted by Akwesi Aboagye.
