MASSIVE TURNOUT FOR "I DO" PREMIERE IN ACCRA

"I DO" two words that brought pressure on ABC pictures and Silverbird Cinemas at the Westhills mall during the Red Carpet premiere of the movie, "I DO".
The well publicized movie produced by Kafui Danku and her  ABC Pictures and written/directed by Kobi Rana witnessed thousands of patrons at both the Accra and WestHills Mall. Without fear and doubt but still stand to be corrected, this is the most patronize movie premiere l have personally witnessed in recent times. The halls were fully packed with some patrons standing on the walkway to watch the movie whiles others were also spotted seated on the stairs climbing up to the seats of the hall.
Despite the crowd, there was a delay in screening of the movie but Kafui Danku and Kobi Rana (producer and director respectively) explained to Studio360gh that,"it was due to technical problems".
Again, as typical of security during most Ghanaian events, some security officials exhibited their unprofessional skills again by pushing some media men away from the red carpet session.
We ask,"So when would some security officials know the difference but the media and the fans?"
It took Kobi Rana to let them know the difference before things got normal again.
The first screening came off as about 9:30pm which was meant to be the time for the second screening all due technical issues.

Again, it took Nana Ama McBrown one of the cast for the movie, to promise patrons to be calm and that the celebrities will all be with them to witness the late  screening  after the first one.
Despite the delay in screening of the movie, patrons didn't regret waiting at all.

Most of them who we (Studio360gh)  spoke to express their happiness to be part of the premiere.
The "I Do" which features the likes of Van Vicker,Kafui Danku, Nana Ama McBrown, Jasmine Baroudi,Elikem the tailor and many more is about four friends who decided to get married on the same day, same time and same honeymoon place.
What was meant to be an exciting moments as expected after every wedding turns out to be one of the worst, love, thrilling and unforgettable night in the lives of these four newly wed couples.
"I Do" is showing at the Silver Birds cinemas and we say Congratulations to ABC Pictures for such a beautiful and educative movie.
