FUSE ODG "Slams" BET: "You have no respect for our hardwork and Achievements"
Fuse ODG has slammed BET for what he calls disrespectful from the organisers of the BET to artistes nominated for International Act awards.
Fuse ODG who was nominated for the Best International Act UK sent a tweet to the organisers telling them why he did not attend the event.
The "Anthena" hitmaker expressed his thought on the fact that BET present their awards at backstage and to him, it means they (BET) don't respect their hard and achievements.
This issue came up when Sarkodie of Ghana received his award at backstage and this year it also happened to Stonebowy of Ghana for winning the same category Best International Act Africa.
Though FUSE ODG lost out in his category to another Ghanaian musician based in the UK called
Stormzy, many think his call for the backstage receiving of the awards for these category should be dropped and presented on the main stage for the world to see and recognize them.
Fuse ODG is seen by many as one who is calling for respect for the African continent and people. Earlier this year, he refused to be part of an organization that was raising funds to support Africa due to the fact that, the organizers he think were not telling the true story of the African especially with the kind of pictures they showed to appeal to the world for support.
In simple terms, he calls this, "This Is New Africa" (T.I.N.A)
Fuse ODG rather graced the stage for the Glastonbury 2015 where he rocked to the admiration of his fans and patrons of the event.
