#ACCRAFLOODS: AM ASHAMED I LACK COMMON SENSE AS A GHANAIAN - Shatta Wale's Manager

It is officially known that about a hundred and fifty people died as a result of the Accra Floods and gas station explosion. Whiles many are still counting their loses and the government agencies are on a demolition spree, the manager of Shatta Wale, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson popularly known as Bulldog have taken a turn on the Ghanaian and the leadership failure to be the cause of all these mis-happenings. Bulldog took to his facebook page over the weekend to lament on the attitude of Ghanaians and governance.

Write his thoughts,

" We live in a country where the majority of the citizenry lack a sense of decorum and critical thinking. We live in a country where passport holders want to have their cake after eating it. One has his or her way when it comes to laws of the land, someone knows some big man somewhere, or one is financially sound so pay their way through wrongdoing and illegal situations.
We gloss over the laws in our country and do whatever we think and see fit. Meanwhile when we sojourn to the west and act in accordance with the laws governing that land in fear of legal ramifications.
We look to everywhere for blames but in ourselves. We are a bunch of unruly lot and deserve nothing but what we have. We hurl excessive insults at leaders for the state of the nation but are chief contributors to the ruins and jumble.
How can one drop by the beach and evacuate one's bowels?
How can we litter about and expect a clean and healthy environ?
How do we expect a smooth run of our public utility services while we elude bills?
How do we expect the laws of the land to work if we don't uphold and champion it?
How do we exclude ourselves from governance when it's all about us?
How can we hail stupidity and expect wise results?
How can a nation work when it's natives don't put in work to make it work?
We lack good behavior, orderliness, control, obedience, self-control, self-discipline, self-government, self-restraint.
We need a total change of mindset and attitude towards the outlook of our nation, if not we will continue to retrogress. Remember there is no standstill in life, you are heading toward the front or the rear. We criticize our leaders when laws are being discharged.
Disregarding the fact that we owe to ourselves and posterity a deep sense of responsibility to help in any small way to propel this nation forward. I will only blame our esteemed leaders for not having the courage to impose the laws no matter how stringent it is on society.
Let's bow down our heads in shame for knowing what is right and have resolved in persistence to do opposite.
"COMMON SENSE TELLS ME TO CLEAN MY BUTTOCKS AFTER I VISIT THE TOILET"
A progressive nation starts with me changing my mindset and attitude towards my homeland. Think like a leader and act like a leader.
