Becca who earlier this year supported the Autism School in Kokomlemle on the world Autism Day will through Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB Networks) on the 30th of June at th Accra Sports Stadium raise funds to support the victims of the twin disaster that hit the country.
Speaking at the official launch held on one of the radio stations of EIB Networks, Starr Fm, Becca narrated how she got trapped at the Accra Mall on the day until later when she got home.
"I was trapped at the Accra Mall on that day and listening and watching what happened, l asked myself how can l also help. So l came to Bola Ray (CEO, EIB Networks) to tell him of my idea of organizing an all stars concert to raise funds for the victims. I was actually not sure if he will accept but l was shocked when he didn't even let me land but immediately said, lets do it" narrated Becca.
Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), the Event Manager for Live Fm (a member of the EIB Networks) speaking to the issue said gate proceeds will be going to support the victims of the fire and floods.
"Gates will be opened at 1pm and the show begins at 5pm. Tickets would be sold for GH10,15 and VIP ticket going for GH20. The monies would be going to support the victims of the twin disaster" he said.
Performances from Sarkodie, Kwabena Kwabena, Becca, Stonebwoy, Bisa K’dei, Joey B, EL, Edem, Daddy Lumba, Gyedu Blay Ambulley, Akosua Agyapong, Paulina Oduro, Irene Logan, Efya, Gifty Osei and over 45 others will light up the Accra Sports Stadium on June 30.
The event is powered by EIB Networks. The Youth and Sports Ministry, UNAIDS and TV3 are also supporting to make the dream a reality.
