"Only God Knows the Kind of Weed Ghana Doctors are SMOKING" - Leila Afua Djansi " "Slams" Doctors
In this pass few days, there have being bad blood between the government of Ghana and the Doctors in Ghana over the condition of service of health professionals.
This issue lead to a strike by the Doctors and further as reports indicates,a possible resignation from the service.
Earlier this week, Junior Doctors traveled from all parts of the country to the capital Accra and besieged the Accountant Generals' Department over their elevens months unpaid salaries. As it stands now, the way isn't clear to the solution despite talks being held to solve the problem. Though the Junior Doctors according to reports were promised to receive their salaries by this past Wednesday, we hear only a few did receive and not all.
In the wake of all these, one of Ghana's finest Movie Directors Leila Djansi, the director of Northern Affair, I Sing Of A Well, Poison Bait and many other award winning movies have "slammed" the doctors and nurses for service delivery to patients.
The award winning movie Director, who is obviously not happy with the services provided by the Ghanaian doctors and Nurses in the country counter the demands made by the doctors with a public demand from them.
