The "Pinpiinaa" hitmaker accroding to hit team says the organisers did not do their job well as planned and that resulted in Obrafuor not mounting the stage.
A statement received by Studio360gh.com from Obrafuor's team says he was billed to perform on another show 'Festival Dance' in New York a show for which organizers flew him to New York. He Obrafuor decided to perform for free because of Sarkodie but Organizers of the History In the Making event "TM Entertainment " who they have earlier had interactions with to pay for Obrafuor's return flight refused at the 90th minute.
According to the statement, Obrafuor's management decided to boycott the event after all efforts for the organisers to fulfil their part of the agreement prove futile.
We are trying to get in touch with the event organists to hear their side of the story but we are yet to get them as at this publication.
In a related story, Joel B, Pappy Kojo and Efya were all billed for the event but reports indicates that due to documentation issues relating to their work permit and travels, they were not able to attend nor perform.
