The Unsung Category Of The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards IS BACK AGAIN?

This year like last year, another underground artist will have the chance to perform with some of the big dogs in the music industry in Ghana on the same stage on the night of the 2015 edition of The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards as Ghone Tv launches the ‘Unsung Category’.

The ``Unsung`` category was created by GhOne Tv last year in order to include underground artistes who have released one or two songs on the market and have the capability to blow up  to compete for public votes in order for one of them to perform on the big night of the upcoming.

Last year, the likes of dancehall artistes, MzVee, Episode,and AK Songstress, rap artistes, Strongman, Eno and Cabum were nominated for the same category which saw MzVEE obtaining the most votes, and as a result enabling her to perform at the 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Her performance on the night propelled her to higher heights and now she is considered a force to reckon with not only in the genre of Dancehall music in Ghana and Africa, but in music in general.
