DJ BLACK TOPS ALL

The 3rd edition of the Ghana DJ Awards took place over the weekend at the Accra International Conference Centre. An event that was graced by many Ds, radio personalities, actors,actresses and music lovers was a club scene to behold.

Despite the delay in start of the program and "NO SHOW" from Stonebouy, MzVee, Edem and DJ Black as promised by the organisers, Andy Dosty,DJ Cofie from UK, DJ Nice, Okyeame Kwame,AK Songstress, Rudebuoy and Vybrant Fyre and his "mapuka" dancers set the foyer of the centre into flames with good music and disc jocky.

DJ Black who was not present for the event won the over all best DJ Award(an award many pundits have said he shouldn't have won for the year under review). He also won the best Radio DJ.
Discovery of the year also went to DJ Breezy of Black Avenue Music. Mike Darling of Peace fm won the best Highlife DJ award whiles Fiifi Sella of Pluzz fm walked home with the Reggae/Dancehall DJ of the year.

Andy Dosty brought back the late 90s and early 2000 hiplife tunes from Kokoveli, Kontihene and Lord Kenya when he took over the tables.
