Chocho Industries the manufactures of Chocho products have taken over the long and running Concert Party which has being organised by the National Theatre of Ghana.
Key soap which is a product of Unilever has enjoyed the glory as title sponsors for many years until this takeover by Chocho.
Though the Concert Party idea has not being as loud and attractive as it was some years ago, the National Theatre of Ghana still pursue the dream of reviving it and making more vibrant like it use to be.
With the first edition held after some few years of break, the main auditorium of the National Theatre was half filled with audience as they were treated with moment of laughs from comedians like Asaase Aban and the veteran Bishop Bob Okalla who delivered in local dialects.
The stage drama from Bomkasa and Kristo Asafo drama groups thrilled the audience with thought provoking and life lesson cantata.
With the take over by Chocho Industries, we just hope the revival would be possible to see more fun injected into the new trends of Ghanaian entertainment. The next edition of the concert party according to organisers is the 8th of November, 2015.
Concert Party discovered the like of Agya Koo, Rose Mensah (Kyeiwaa), Akrobeto, Nkomode and many other Kumawood actors and actresses who grace our scenes with their acts.
