EMEFA IS GHANA'S MOST BEAUTIFUL

It was a night of pure display of Ghanaian culture, talent and beauty inside out at the National Theatre on the 11th of November, 2012 when Emefa Akosua Adeti the contestant from the Volta Region was crown Ghana's Most Beautiful sixth edition with 42% on the score card.
 
After 15 weeks of the competition, Emefa famously called "MAMA G" took the competition to another level. Her display of creativity and intelligence, week after week won her a standing ovation from one of the three judges of the competition on the night she was crowned.
 
On the night, the young versatile 23 year old lady who is a graduate of Takoradi polytechnic where she read marketing and from the Volta Region danced her way to informed Ghanaians that we are one PEOPLE.
Veteran Actor David Dontoh a judge for the finale did not miss words in his remarks: "Indeed you have re-defined beauty for national development,” while Dzifa Glomeke, third judge, said: “you are very creative; you are just a wonderful performer.”
She also showed her intelligence when it took the tune of questions and answers.

It came as no surprise when she was crowned the Most Beautiful since the thousands of audience at the theatre and millions of viewers home were just waiting for her to crowned.

In an interview with her best friend who was so happy and almost in tears, she only voice out two lines, "She deserves it and even more. I am proud of her and she is the best".
 
Emefa went home with a car, crown and an amount of GH 7000 cedis.
She has already bagged in an amount of GH 25,000 cedis from the regional tours in the Volta Region, 6 plots of lands and an unconfirmed 3 bedroom house.
 
 In her own words, she was never wrong on the night; "EMEFA is my stage name, selfless, vibrant and eloquent Ghanaian lady who is committed to cultural values and the welfare of people".

The finals of the event saw three other contestants from the Central (Ama), Ashanti (Eno), and  Western(Afiba) Regions. Ama was the second in position with 22% whiles Eno was in third with 18% ;with Afiba in foruth place with 16% on the score card.
On the night, Dobble, Gifty Osei and Keche set fire at the theatre with ther musical performances.
 
The competition saw alot of ladies representing the other Regions in the country but week after week, they were evicted from the competition.
 
Ghana's Most Beautiful is a TV 3 event and its aim at redefining beauty for national development.
Today in Ghana, in the history of beauty pageant, it has become the most endored and internationally recognised pageant.
